Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an account?
No. No learner account or direct identity is required. Your practice progress stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time.
Is anything in the practice real?
No. Every message, phone call, website, and payment request in the missions is fictional. Nothing can contact you and nothing costs money.
Is this a test? Can I fail?
No. The public practice has no score, pass, fail, or time limit. If a choice is not protective, you can see what would happen and try again.
What if I already clicked, paid, or shared something?
Use the Help Now page. It gives general next steps without asking what happened to you, and links to official reporting resources. Acting quickly matters more than embarrassment.
Do I need computer or security experience?
No. The practice uses everyday situations and plain language. You can turn on larger text, high contrast, and reduced motion.
Who is this for?
Anyone. It was designed with older adults, families, and caregivers in mind, and organizations can run community pilot sessions.
Does this guarantee I will not be scammed?
No, and we will never claim that. Practicing safer habits is valuable, but no training can prevent fraud or guarantee protection.
