Free scam awareness practice for libraries and senior centers
Libraries, senior centers, credit unions, faith communities, and other local groups can use The End Scams Project as the hands-on part of a scam awareness class or talk for older adults. People practice spotting scam texts, phone calls, and computer pop-ups on library computers or their own phones. It is free, with no sign-ups and no license needed.
What a free practice session looks like
Someone from your organization leads the group while people work through the practice exercises on library computers or their own phones. Everyone takes home a printed safety plan. Nobody signs up, and nothing people type leaves their phone or computer.
What we provide
Guidance for whoever leads the session, handouts to print, and, if you like, a group code people can type in when they start. The code is optional, stays on their own device, and is not tied to anyone's name.
Services for organizations
The practice is free, and any organization can run it on its own. We also offer two services to businesses and organizations of any kind. Money organizations pay for these services goes toward the free practice and expanding it.
Custom scam alerts (free pilot)
Alerts about the scams reaching your customers, your members, and your town or region, with your organization's name on them. Your own email tool sends them automatically, or you paste them into a newsletter, an email, or your own website. Free during the pilot, which is limited to 25 organizations.
In-person sessions
Each session includes a short talk about current scams, hands-on time with the practice stories with us there to help, and time for questions. Your organization pays for the session, and the people who attend never pay.

Working with us does not buy any say over what we publish. Any email from us about payment comes from an address ending in @endscamsproject.com.
